CT Arches and Outlines
These CT Scan cross-sections “slices” were taken using Computed Tomography, a special kind of X-ray (see CT Scans). There is a centimeter scale included on the image, for printed to accurate scale. The “Slice” positions are in customary arching template positions:
- Lower bout widest point
- Lower corner just below the F-holes
- Middle bout just above the f-holes
- Upper corners deepest part of curve
- Upper bout widest point
- Lengthwise Horizon
= 10cm.
