The simulated animations here show the actual vibration patterns of the Titian Stradivari, displayed slower and with exaggerated motion for visibility.
The data was captured by a 3D scanning laser array. Computer Modal Analysis processed the data and created a 3D model, animated to reveal some of the complex modal behavior, one frequency at a time.
